Life has been crazy and busy. I have not had any time for my friends and I miss them terribly. :(
Anyway, back to my update. I've improved on taking my vitamins daily. Water not so much, still having a hard time during the weekends. I have pretty much forgotten about my gratitude journal. I finally learned a new word last week. I still haven't bathed my dogs. I must this weekend though, before my MIL comes. I still need to take an 'us' picture before the month ends. And I am going to have to change #10 because she is coming to live with us next week, so calling her once a month won't be necessary. And with her living with us, it will be an even better test of #25, practicing patience. lol
We did #88 visit the Queen Mary during Halloween season. I'm glad we paid 1/2 price because it wasn't close to what I had hoped it would be. Besides the massive line to get in, it was fun, just not spooky enough for me.
Oh and on #61, DH finally hemmed my pants! I had planned to do it myself, but he did it for me.

5th & 6th week update
A lot going on right now, so not much time to write. I am keeping everything updated on my spreadsheet though. I've updated everything on my list (posted down below) as of and including 09/29/08. Right now it is much easier for me to just update the list instead of listing each goal I completed/missed.

3rd week update
So I changed #58 from 5 recipes to 2 recipes a week. I don't even cook 5 times a week, so I don’t know what I was thinking when setting that goal. lol I also changed #63 from 4 hours to 2 hours a week because that's more realistic. And I also changed was #92 from “visiting New Port Beach to see what the hoopla is about” to going to a Dodger game.
I want to say that I'm loving and sort of hating this challenge at the same time because while it's tough (which is the part I kind of hate) it's helping me to improve. See I have this tendency to quit something or start all over again if I mess up or miss something.
For example, if I mess up while writing a note, I have to start it over on a new piece of paper. Or if I'm late to something, I'd rather not go at all. I've missed a few goals already and have fought the urge to quit. Not the whole 101 in 1001 challenge, but the particular goal I’ve missed, for example #64. But I am working on that.
I have created an excel spreadsheet to help me get better organized in keeping track of my goals. I hope it helps.

2nd week update
Goals completed: #25, 28 (i have them written, just haven't posted them yet), 42, 43, 54, 58, 59, 65, 94, 95, and 101.
Goals missed/incomplete: #12, 22, 38, 63, 64.
I think I have set my goals a little bit higher than what I really can do or what's really needed, such as the grocery shopping every week and selecting 5 recipes each week. I am thinking of changing it to 2 or 3 recipes a week, but I'm not sure yet. Also #63 and 64, just not happening this week.

Notes: I do really well during the work week with taking my multivitamin (#12) and drinking 64oz of water daily (#22), but seem to struggle during the weekend. I hope to do better next weekend.
#67 will be a monthly xfer into my savings account.
I seem to be doing pretty good for the first week. But I'm curious as to how I will continue to do along the way...
